Description: 1.00- feels he?s always known he was gay, came out at 13
.45- came out to rest of the world before family, his mum had an issue with it, but he has 7 siblings thinks she found it okay through them
.15- one of his childhood friends had an issue with it because of her deeply religious upbringing, but they?ve talked a lot of things through since then, she?s more open minded and there still friends
.00- worry about work, hasn?t really had an issue but it tends to be homophobic customers that are the problem, its okay on an individual level but when it?s the general clientele, this has led to him handing in his notice, because he doesn?t feel he should have to work in those conditions
.45- feels like dating is pretty much the same for straight and gay people
.20- comfortable with the idea of having kids, happy for gay couples or gay individuals to have kids, but it?s a bridge he?ll cross when he comes to it, wants to be financially sound first
.15- feels that people are more open minded ?because it is kind of shoved in people?s faces a little bit more it kind of forces people to question their attitude and their approach you know if everything is kept under lock and key all the time that nothing is going to get resolved there aren?t going to be any solutions I suppose to a lot of problems within the community?
.00- also feels it?s easier now for kids in school to come out
.50- teenage dating
.10- glad that he came out so young, his and other people like him?s attitudes which have helped make things easier
.50- few role models when he came out, those you did see where either very stereotypical or unrelatable, but there was more representation since then
