.40- knowing that she was going to transition at work was the hardest part, especially as it was a risk
.30- felt if she didn?t do it soon, then she may as well just kill herself, further discussion here
.30- took 3 weeks off work after her managerial role, and then would go back as herself, whilst she was off got them to send everyone in the company, even those she hadn?t met, an email explaining everything. Everyone was fine with it. Knows she can do anything now
.30- talks about spirituality, believes everything with be okay
.10- is back at work as herself, has been promoted, got her own place, still has friends and family. Did lose 2 friends during transition which is difficult
.50- ?I can definitely say that I made the right decision to transition you know I am a woman I know that I have always been female and to be like this feels right to me and I know that having transitioned now um I can look forward to the rest of my life and I don?t know what?s out there and for the first time in 15 odd years I haven?t got my life mapped out you know I spend 15 nearly 20 years planning trying to get through being transgender and setting all these goals and targets and I haven?t got those now really cause I?ve done it I?m just getting on with my life so so what?s really interesting and what?s exciting about life is that there?s just loads of opportunities and um I can take them as I see fit so that?s really all there is to say now um you know I just hope that people who have issues questioning their gender or their sexuality or even any other parts of their life can listen to me and see that it doesn?t matter how bad you feel or how hard you think life is it definitely does get better if you stick it out and you get support and you take care of yourself then it does get better?
.40- ?Life is good?
